Introduction of Kangen Water®

Kangen Water® is an electrically ionized water created from Enagic’s innovative water technology. It is filtered from tap water through the Kangen machine that produces ionized alkaline and acidic water.

These water, that varies in pH levels, can then be used for various purposes such as drinking, cooking, cleaning and even beauty routines.

Why Kangen Water®?

Did you know that an average human body is made up of approximately 55% – 60% water? Interestingly, the brain is made up of about 70% water while the lungs are about 83%. Not drinking sufficient water or drinking contaminated water causes premature aging and disease.

This suggests that the quality of water we drink plays a huge role on our health. Unfortunately, high quality drinking water is increasingly difficult to come by in today’s day and age.

This makes it important for us to understand the benefits of Kangen Water®  and how it differs from our commonly used water.

Problems with Commonly Used Water

Tap Water

The world’s drinking water is unsafe at every source. Even when our water has been chemically treated, ostensibly making it safe to drink, it often passes through disintegrating water pipes in our cities. This makes the treated tap water susceptible to unwanted contaminants such as dangerous chemical, bacteria, chlorine and even rust.

With the current levels of contamination, the public is starting to question the quality of treated tap water and wonder if it is safe enough to drink.

Bottled Water

Many perceive bottled water to be healthier and cleaner than tap water. However, there is no such guarantee and its only difference are the added minerals, which have no proven health benefits.

A four-year study by the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC) revealed that 1/3 of the bottled water tested contained levels of contamination which exceeded the allowable limits. Bottled water can also be slightly acidic, which may affect your body’s pH balance.

Reverse Osmosis Water

Reverse Osmosis is a filtering process commonly used in bottled water factories and places that do not receive municipally treated water that is safe to drink. However, chemicals that are molecularly smaller than water such as pesticides, herbicides, and chlorine can still pass through the filter.

Reverse osmosis also removes healthy and naturally occurring water minerals that serves as a vital function in our body system.
